Every technology requirement is different. Some organizations need a complete solution designed and delivered, while others need experienced professionals to work alongside their existing teams. We therefore provide two primary engagement models.
Engage dinesQL to design, develop and implement a complete solution or a clearly defined part of your technology initiative.
Our project engagements may include areas such as:
Project pricing is agreed after understanding the requirements, scope, delivery expectations and resource requirements.
Extend your existing team with dedicated technology professionals for an agreed period without having to manage the recruitment and operational overhead associated with building an internal team. For longer-term engagements, we provide transparent monthly resource rates based on the required role and experience level.

We do not use a single standard price for project delivery because the effort and resources required can vary significantly between solutions. During the initial discussions, we review your requirements and define the expected scope before preparing the commercial proposal. Project pricing may be influenced by factors such as:
The technologies and capabilities required, such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks, AI, Agentic AI, data platforms, software development or application modernization.
The number of systems, applications, data sources, workloads, integrations and business processes involved.
Architecture requirements, data volumes, processing requirements, security, governance, integration complexity, performance expectations and other technical considerations.
The number and type of professionals required, such as software engineers, data engineers, senior engineers, solution architects, data architects or other specialists.
Whether the engagement is delivered remotely, onsite or through a combination of both.
Expected project duration, milestones, delivery deadlines and required resource availability.
After the initial assessment, the project scope, responsibilities, delivery approach, timeline and commercial terms will be documented and agreed before the project begins.
There are no hidden service charges. Any work outside the agreed project scope will be discussed and approved before additional charges are incurred. Applicable taxes will be charged where required.
Our dedicated resource outsourcing model allows organizations to engage experienced technology professionals who work as an extension of their internal teams.
dinesQL manages the recruitment and operational responsibilities associated with providing the resource, allowing the customer to focus on assigning work, managing priorities and achieving project outcomes. For standard outsourcing engagements, the agreed monthly rate includes the normal operational costs required to provide and support the resource.

The following monthly rates apply to 12-month resource engagements under our standard remote working model.
| Resource | Monthly Rate |
|---|---|
| Software Engineer - Level 1 | USD 2,500 |
| Software Engineer - Level 2 | USD 3,200 |
| Data Engineer - Level 1 | USD 2,600 |
| Data Engineer - Level 2 | USD 3,400 |
| Software Solution Architect | Contact Us |
| Data Architect | Contact Us |
For Software Solution Architect and Data Architect engagements, pricing is agreed after understanding the expected responsibilities, workload, level of involvement, required experience and engagement duration.
Shorter-term resource engagements are also available. Rates may differ depending on the engagement duration, resource availability and specific requirements.
Published rates exclude applicable taxes.
Our standard resource outsourcing model is designed for remote delivery.
Resources are primarily recruited and employed from Sri Lanka. Where a suitable resource with the required skills or experience is not available in Sri Lanka, we may recruit from another country after discussing the requirement with the customer.
Our standard working arrangement follows a hybrid model, where resources normally work:
This allows us to maintain team collaboration, operational oversight and a structured working environment while retaining the flexibility of remote work.
From the customer's perspective, the resource normally works remotely and collaborates with the customer's team using the agreed communication, project management and development platforms.

If a customer requires a resource to work onsite at the customer's location, the engagement will be reviewed separately. Additional charges may apply for requirements such as:
Any onsite-related charges will be discussed and agreed with the customer before the onsite engagement begins.
For a standard resource outsourcing engagement, there are no additional recruitment or resource-management charges. dinesQL manages the following as part of the standard monthly resource fee.
We manage the sourcing, screening, recruitment and onboarding processes required to provide the agreed resource.
We manage the normal employment and administrative processes associated with the resource throughout the engagement.
Standard computer hardware and related equipment required for the resource to perform their work are provided and managed by dinesQL.
Common software and development tools normally required for software engineering, data engineering and related technical work are included. Where a customer requires specialized, proprietary or customer-specific software, subscriptions or licences, these may need to be provided by the customer or agreed separately.
Standard internet connectivity and the normal working environment required for remote delivery are included.
dinesQL manages the normal networking, endpoint and security requirements associated with the resource's working environment. Where access to customer systems is required, the customer may need to provide access to its own VPN, cloud environments, repositories, development platforms, security systems or other internal infrastructure.

The published monthly rates are based on a 12-month engagement commitment. We understand that project priorities and resource requirements can change during an engagement. Therefore, customers may release a resource before the end of the agreed 12-month period, subject to the early-release terms below.
Early Release of a Resource
If a resource is no longer required, the customer must provide written notice to dinesQL. The customer will be responsible for the charges applicable to the current billing month, plus two additional months. This notice period allows dinesQL to responsibly manage employment commitments and provide sufficient time to reassign the resource to another engagement where possible.
Where appropriate, we can also discuss alternative arrangements, such as:
Any such changes will be discussed and mutually agreed.
Our objective is to keep every engagement commercially clear from the beginning.
Project fees and resource charges are documented and agreed before the engagement begins.
Recruitment and normal resource-management costs are included in the agreed monthly outsourcing rate.
If additional project requirements arise outside the originally agreed scope, the impact on effort, timeline and cost will be discussed before the additional work begins.
For remote resource outsourcing, standard recruitment, hardware, commonly required software, connectivity, networking and operational support are included in the monthly rate.
Specialized software licences, customer-specific platforms, onsite travel, accommodation, visas and other non-standard requirements may incur additional charges. These will always be discussed and agreed before the related cost is incurred.
GST or other legally applicable taxes will be added where required.
Whether you are planning a Microsoft Fabric implementation, building an AI solution, developing a software application or simply need additional engineering or architecture capability, we can structure an engagement around your requirements.
